It detects dangerous lethal CO (carbon monoxide) gas in a certain area. It emits a warning signal when the carbon monoxide concentration is exceeded. The electrochemical sensor is manufactured under strict regulations and quality control. Ensures high performance and reliability. Easy to install and maintain. Suitable for living areas, boiler rooms, garages, car repair shops, motor homes, etc. Carbon monoxide is a toxic colorless gas, tasteless, odorless, lighter than air. It is produced by incomplete combustion of carbon and organic substances or as a by-product of the combustion of fuels during cooking or heating. It binds hemoglobin in the blood, creating a carboxyhemoglobin that prevents the transfer of oxygen from the lungs to the tissues. Carbon monoxide can cause death within a few minutes (depending on concentration). Guaranteed lifetime of 10 years! <b> Decree no. 23/2008 Coll. specifies that a new gas detector must be installed in new garages, repair shops and repair shops of vehicles powered by gaseous fuels (in buildings approved after 1 July 2008); LOCATION OF THE DEVICE UNDER DECREE No. 23/2008 Coll. </b> - The garage, which is also used for the parking of gas-fueled vehicles, must be equipped with gas leak detectors and efficient ventilation. - The requirement referred to in the first sentence shall also apply to access and exit areas, collective garages also serving for the parking of vehicles powered by gaseous fuels if this space is longer than 30 m and is surrounded by building structures on at least three sides. - A service or repair shop also used for vehicles fueled with gaseous fuels must be equipped with gas leak detectors and efficient ventilation.
Technical description
Sensor Technology: Kidde's electrochemical technology - a patent, is one of the most accurate technologies in the world. Power supply: DC, three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (included). Mounting method: On a wall (screws included) or on a flat surface. Exceeding permissible CO concentration: 85 dB acoustic alarm and visual (red LED), indication on the LCD panel of the detected concentration. End of life notification: The "End" information on the LCD panel, two beeps and two red LEDs blink for 30 seconds. Low Battery Indicator: A "Lb" message on the LCD panel, accompanied by a beep and a red and green LED. LCD panel indication: Current CO concentration level between 0 and 999 PPM * "Lb" - low battery, "Err" - unit failure. "End" - end-of-life notification. Test / Reset function: Button for checking, maintaining the equipment. When pressed, the control unit performs a device test. Peak / Level function: Button to recall the highest measured CO concentration stored in the instrument's memory in the range of 11 - 999PPM. When the button is pressed, the highest CO level detected at the time of device reset is displayed. Operating temperature: +0 ° C - +40 ° C Operating humidity: up to 90% relative humidity (RH) non-condensing. Storage conditions: Temperature: -10 ° C - +60 ° C Humidity: 5% - 95% RH Dimensions: 118 x 70 x 40mm Weight with batteries: 0.160 kg Approval: STN-EN50291: 2010 part of 1 household and part 2 (ships and trailers) Stamps: CE Warranty: 10 years
