Use

The adhesive can be used for high-strength contact bonding. It is especially suitable for gluing leather, wood, rubber, textiles, metals, etc .. Among other things, it is suitable for gluing insulation materials in areas exposed to high temperatures and for our floor tape Permafix RMT 50 and thus ensures a quality, fast solution, personally tested.

However, it is not very suitable for polystyrene or Teflon, softened PVC, PE, PP. never use this adhesive on joints that come into contact with drinking water or food.

Technical description

The bonded material must always be cleaned of grease and dust to ensure maximum effectiveness of the adhesive. When gluing metal or plastics, create sufficient roughening of the contact surfaces, which ensures an increase in the strength of the glued joint. When gluing absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to dilute the adhesive with thinner.

before use, mix the glue well and then apply, with a brush or roller. recommended consumption 250 - 350 g / m2 (when applied on both surfaces) After applying the adhesive, leave it to dry for approx. 10 - 15 min, then place both surfaces on top of each other and press firmly. for the maximum joint strength is important how much force is applied to the surface, not by duration of the applied force to the surface of the joined objects. The final strenght of the joint is reached after 24 hours. Glue contamination around the joint can be removed with a thinner.
