Epoxy resin with photoluminescent pigment for casting EZ 350

The epoxy resin in the set with hardener and photoluminescent pigment contains a resin 500 g (+ 200 g hardener and 150 g pigment). The epoxy system and new hardener have been developed based on your requirements, a UV stable and with high glow in the dark. The system exhibits extreme transparency, minimal shrinkage and cures at room temperature. It is very environmentally friendly for your health, as almost no harmful fumes were measured during curing. It does not cause an allergic skin reaction under normal use.

The cured resin with a light green-green pigment, when illuminated in the dark, glows with a bright greenish light. In the case of a resin with a blue pigment, it shines with a bright turquoise color. The cured resin glows up to 2000 mcd / m2 after 1 minute and 2500 mcd / m2 after 10 minutes of illumination. It lasts for about 12 hours.

The new hardener significantly suppresses oxidation and subsequent yellowing of the laminate. This new system is one of the highest quality lamination systems, thanks to the use of the highest quality raw materials on the market. The set is intended for casting to 90 mm maximum thickness.  For example, you can cast wooden table tops and create rivertables. Instructions are given on the product packaging.

Technical description

Mixing ratio: 40 g hardener and 30 g pigment per 100 g resin. The mixture must be mixed thoroughly. Bad quality of the castings is in most cases due to poor mixing.

The solidification rate depends on the thickness of the casting. The thicker the casting, the faster it hardens due to the effect of exothermic reactions. Therefore, it is recommended to operate at room temperature below 23 ° C and reduce the risk of high exothermic temperature. Read the packaging instructions for more information.
