Fits in any room where batteries are stored! When conventional fire extinguishers fail, this fire-fighting granulate will do the job. It is an innovative solution for the safe storage of lithium polymer batteries.

With Extron Fire Extinguisher Granules, you are also perfectly prepared for any lithium fire in your workshop. If a battery catches fire here, you can extinguish it quickly, safely and above all cleanly with pellets! The granules are gently placed on the fire. The expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire and suffocates it. At particularly high temperatures, the granulate melts and spills over the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight seal that crusts over and extinguishes the metal fire as it cools. Re-ignition is effectively prevented.

This fire extinguisher is designed to extinguish burning substances, taking into account their fire class and environment. Our extinguishing granules are suitable for class D and lithium-ion fire loads. Problematic fire loads such as metal fires, battery fires, lithium fires or flammable liquids can be controlled and extinguished with pellets without damaging the extinguishing agent.

The extinguishing effect of granules on metal fires was tested and confirmed by "MPA Dresden" using sodium and magnesium fire.
