Decree no. 23/2008 Coll. specifies that households in new buildings (ie approved after 1.7.2008) must be equipped with autonomous smoke detectors, so it is mandatory in new buildings for final inspection. Photoelectric autonomous smoke detector and smoke alarm is one of the most important equipments of fire safety for households. It reacts to visible fumes (fumes) that are generated during combustion. The smoke alarm is designed to detect an early fire by providing early warning and to allow sufficient time for the evacuation of persons.
