Unlike humans, birds have both eyes on the side of their heads. Therefore, during the flight, they pay the most attention to the objects on the sides and below, not in front of them. At speeds they reach, they do not distinguish between the actual area and its reflection. Areas such as glass confuse them, and if they see a tree behind them, for example, they try to fly through it, thinking that there is no danger to them. UV stickers are a very effective method of preventing birds from hitting the glass. Every year (according to estimates) 100 million birds die this year. An example of suitable use will be a window measuring 1.2 x 0.9 m, if we glue it evenly with this protection with gaps of about 10 cm, most precipitation will be prevented. Even when sticking only one UV sticker in the middle of the same window, approximately 20% of the birds avoided it during testing.

Technical description

Apply to the outside of the washed and degreased window. When applied to glass in the winter months, the outdoor temperatures drop below +5 ° C, so we recommend heating the surface with a warm hair dryer, for example. Wait until the spring season when washing the area adhered to this way. The sticker with a UV effect has a shelf life of about 12 months, after which its effectiveness decreases due to sunlight.
