The driver of a motor vehicle or combination of vehicles equipped with wheel chocks must use them when it is necessary to secure the vehicle or combination against the movement. (Section 26 of Act No. 361/2000 Coll.) Wheel chocks are also required for any vehicle on the loading platform. Moldable rubber chock has an ideal slope and increased shear friction over the surface thanks to the rubber design to increase the safety of the vehicle against the movement. It has significantly better properties than a metal wedge. The wedge has a rubber grip for a comfortable grip and carry. From a safety point of view, wedges can save lives if the vehicle starts to move spontaneously, especially when loading or unloading.
